The Maestrini 1-1/2" female BSP flanged locking nut is made from bronze. This material is tough and corrosion resistant making it suitable for exposure to sea water.
Please Note: All fittings used for through hull applications must be correctly electrically bonded to ensure protection from electrolytic corrosion. Bronze is highly suitable for below waterline through hull applications.
