Quick BL2 Free Fall Windlass with Recyclable Gearbox (900W, 12V, 8mm)

The Quick Balder BL2 windlass with horizontal axis is designed for installation in the anchor locker compartment. This windlass is fitted with a 100% recyclable technopolymer gearbox. This BL2 model has a 900W motor at 12 volts, providing a maximum working load of 300kg (661.4 lbs) and a maximum chain speed of 22.6 meters per minute (74.1 ft per minute). To ease the positioning, the motor can rotate up to 180° at 45° increments and thanks to a specific bracket, the windlass can be installed on the bulkhead or below deck. This windlass features an 8mm gypsy which is suitable for 8mm DIN 766, 8mm ISO and 1/2" (12.7mm) rope (this value refers to a three-strand polyester rope with a rope/chain splice manufactured with the “Quick®” system).
