Sika® Aktivator-205 is a transparent solvent-based adhesion promoter for non-porous substrates. It is designed to treat bond faces before application of Sikaflex® and Sikasil® adhesives and sealants. The ‘Aktivator' is designed to react with moisture and deposit active groups on the substrate, which act as a link between substrates and primers or sealants/adhesives. NOTE: This product is suitable for experienced professional users only. Tests with actual substrates and conditions must be performed to ensure adhesion and material compatibility. Seek manufacturer's advice and perform tests on original substrates before using Sika® Primer-215 on materials prone to stress cracking.
