Maestrini equal nipple connector made from dezincification resistant brass (DZR), also known as CR brass which stands for corrosion resistant. This material is a brass alloy which prevents corrosion, caused by the loss of zinc in the fitting, making it suitable for exposure to sea water. This 1/4" BSP tapered hex nipple is used to connect two pieces of equal sized pipe.
