Quick GP2 1200F Windlass Free-Fall (250W / 12V / 6mm)

The Quick GP2 1200F horizontal on-deck windlass is suitable for boats from 6-9 meters (20-30 ft). It has an anodized aluminium in hard oxide base and is supplied with a 12V T6411-12 contactor unit and a lever for the windlass as standard. The windlass is equipped with an epicyclical gearbox that provides much higher efficiency (+40% compared to equivalent traditional gearboxes). This particular model features Free-Fall technology which allows free running of chain through the gypsy when lowering the anchor. Simply by pressing the down control button the windlass will release its clutch and the gypsy will freewheel. To stop the Free-Fall, press the up control button on the windlass and the clutch will engage stopping the gypsy and allowing retrieval of the chain. This windlass has a 6mm gypsy which is suitable for 6mm DIN 766 and 6mm ISO chain, as well as 1/2" (12.7mm) rope.
