Sika Primer 209D Adhesion Promoter 250ml Can Black

Sika® Primer-209 D is a black, moisture-curing low viscosity primer specifically formulated for the treatment of painted surfaces or plastics prior to the application of Sikaflex® direct-glazing adhesive. The moisture-curing primer improves adhesion to a range of substrates including acrylics, alkyds/melamine, powder coatings, baking varnishes and plastics including polymethylmethacrylate (PMMA), polycarbonate (PC), polystyrene (PS), glass fibre reinforced polyester (PES-GRP), glass fibre reinforced epoxy resins (EP-GRP), ABS, and PVC. Sika® Primer-209 D is manufactured in accordance with ISO 9001 / 14001 quality assurance system and the responsible care program. Sika recommend adhesion tests on substrates are carried out due to the individual chemical composition of the formulation. Manufacturer's advice should also be sought before using the primer on thermoplastics that are prone to stress cracking, such as acrylics, polycarbonates or ABS etc.
